Our wrapping paper mess picture- an Andersen tradition.I got a camera for Christmas- a little late to take all the pictures from the eventful month gone by :) Many of the pictures we took are on one of our cell phones. Michael has kindly shared his camera with us- very helpful, until the battery completely died.
Not pictured: our gingerbread house making night- shared with the Fry and Duncan Families, Christmas Eve Bethlehem dinner, the children's acting out of the Nativity.
Decorating the tree.
Beginning our tree search...the smiling faces...before the trek back to the van. The boys and men left me and the four girls (ages 2, 3, 5 and 5) on the path to go further into the woods to look for the perfect trees. I waited with the girls (for about 3 minutes) until they became unhappy. Naomi's feet were cold way back at the start. Madalyn wondered and played in the snow for 5-10 minutes then she wanted to be held- so did Naomi. I won't go into detail how and in what state we made it back to the van to await the arrival of the guys. An adventure for sure!
Naomi and Kaitlyn after their wonderful Christmas Program performance with the YMCA children's singing groups. Hunter got to be a part of the honor choir in the elementary school Christmas program. Michael and Kaitlyn sang a few songs each with their grades as well. They all did a great job entertaining us parents.
Kent gave the children a ride after the annual lighting of the Christmas trees at the college- a yearly tradition.

your kids just melt my heart. i see so much happiness in their adorable faces. they have cool parents--no wonder they are so joyful.
So faux tree next year, or what?

Looks fun...except the cold feet part. The camoflauge Christmas morning is the best!
